Azaire™ Operations and Maintenance Center

The Azaire™ Wireless services Gateway (WSG) is the industry's first 3GPP and 3GPP2 standards compliant product that enables operators to deploy hybrid networks to complement 2.5G/3G rollouts and services with unlicensed spectrum technologies. The IP-CNP enables operators to deploy one platform for delivering all broadband services (data, voice and multimedia services) securely over any IP access.
 

The Azaire Operations and Maintenance Center provides comprehensive management functions for all IP-CNP subsystems using an intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI):

• Configuration Management
• Fault Management
• Performance Management
• Subscriber Management
• Software Upgrade management

The SCN-OMC is a carrier-class Element Management System (EMS) for managing all IP-CNP network nodes (SCN-RAC, SCN-ESP, WSG, WSG-15xx/25xx and Access Points) from the Network Operations Center (NOC).

Uninterrupted Subscriber Services
The OMC allows the NOC operators to monitor all IP-CNP Network Elements and subscriber activity to ensure round the clock uninterrupted service.
 

Web Based Graphical User Interface
The OMC server can be accessed from any PC or workstation with a Java capable web browser. The OMC users (operators) need not be at the NOC. The OMC server can be accessed from anywhere over secure IP links.
 

User Access Management
The OMC supports five levels of access by different operators to match with their roles and responsibilities:

• Super User
• System Administrator
• Normal User
• Fault Monitor & Manager
• Customer Service Representative

Configuration Management (CM)
The OMC CM module allows the operators to provision and configure all hardware components and software features for various IP-CNP nodes. Some example CM services are:

• First Day of Service (FDOS) provisioning
• Access Point Discovery and provisioning
• SCN-RAC AAA Server Configuration
• SCN-ESP Pre-paid Service Package Configuration
• WSG Chassis Configuration
• WSG DHCP Server Configuration
